Editorial mission

Our purpose is to make rigorous Shakespeare study more usable without presenting a shortcut as a substitute for reading. Resources help readers return to the original language with a clearer sense of syntax, dramatic context, vocabulary, and interpretive possibilities.

Content methodology

Public-domain source material is curated and checked for scene order, speakers, quotations, stage directions, and major events. Our modern paraphrases, glossary notes, scene guidance, quote explanations, and diagrams are independently written study aids. Interpretive questions are presented as interpretations when the text supports more than one reading.

Editorial accountability

The named Editorial Lead role is the Shake Up Shakespeare Curriculum Office, Curriculum Specialist role. Before a commercial advertising application, the operating publisher must replace this role label with the appointed person’s real name, biography, and verifiable credentials. We do not fabricate credentials.
